Engage by Unconnecting
I saw this and couldn't help but just love it, the whole idea of making a game out of spending quality time with family & friends.
Too often I complain (and I am very guilty myself) of spending entire meals in silence or on the phone. I often catch myself saying "Huh?" or "What?" when my precious 7 year old is talking to me about something he views as important because my eyes are glued to the tiny screen on my phone. I have started to be way more conscious of how precious my time with him is and funnily enough, the more conscious I am of spending time with him, real time, connecting and valuing what he says the more peaceful, calm and good behaved he seems to be with me.
I highly doubt it is a coincidence.
So shut off those funs, at the very least at dinner, and make real connections with your loved ones and friends. I guarantee it is worth it. :)
p.s. Yes Luci, I promise to be better so you won't call me a hypocrite.
